Wonderful weekend

So yeah, I had a great weekend.
Went out on friday night which I haven't done for a while, and spent saturday with Gary.
Sunday I spent lazing around, and Monday I took off and spent that with Gary too. He's teaching me to play guitar, but I'm having some problems distinguishing between strings with my eyes. I don't know, I'll persevere, but if I can't see the strings then I might stick to just inging. See how it goes.
Sarah has a new boyfriend, Scott, so hopefully she'll calm down a bit now, tho he's not the most mature guy in the world, he's nice enough I suppose, and Sarah likes hime so I guess thats all that matters.
I'm in two minds whether or not to sell my bass. I haven't played it since I bought it, and I don't know if I can learn guitar and bass at the same time. plus I'm borrowing a guitar off Gary at the mo, one which he wants to sell on ebay, and I don't think I can afford to buy it off him wthout selling the bass. Have to say the guitar is damned sexy, is a Fender electro acoustic in black. I dunno, I like em both. Maybe I should just get a loan out and get everything!

you should concentrate on singing, but if you really want to acompany yourself a guitar is a lot more useful than bass. Steep learning curve though, takes a while to remember where the strings are without looking. I'd say give it a few weeks and if you feel excited by the guitar try and get a cheap one or buy gary's and carry on, but if you don't feel excited by it just concentrate on the singing becasue that is where your gift is. You could always keep the bass and try and find a band why you are a bit more confident- good singers and bass players are hard to come by since everyone defaults to guitar!
