Who?

So there's not much happened for a bit. Just the general work-sleep cycle that is my life.
Went to see the Who on thursday which was good. They still rock (nothing beats Def Leppard tho). Bought some fish for my tank, ordered a moos thingy for Caroline's birthday...its cute, its a little amorphous blob thing with a cute face that glows and pulses and also flashes in time to music. I think she'll like it, it's silly and cute at the same time.
Gary is getting me singing again, which reminds me I'll have to go and look for some songs that I like and find TAB and chordature for them...maybe I'll get good enough to play and sing them myself, then I won't have to rely on Gary's unreliable 'yeah sure we can practise tomorrow's.
Of course to do that I need a decent guitar and sound system, which let's face isn't gonna happen with the money I have.

Anyway, enough moaning, I'm off to find some songs to sing...maybe I'll drive my mum and dad up the wall by singing them. After all they've been driving me up the wall by arguing...over the fucking video recorder and the sideboard for fuck's sake...I need a flat of my own...

I enjoyed the who when I saw them, I thought pete townsend was a bit pretensious and roger daltery was disturbingly cute.

So you want to learn guitar then? I am struggling because I don't have the time, but in few months my thesis will be over and I'll get my life back. Why don't you try asnd get a decent steel strung acoustic? They are loud enough that you don't need to worry about amplification ad they sound nice.. they are a lot cheaper than an electric (unless you get a really decent one). I got a fender cd60 for $160 and it is really nice. Hard to play because the tension is bigger than on an electric but I got used to it after a few weeks.

Grr the dog next door has been yelping for 3 hours. Guess he doesn't like the rain. He's probably not sure what it tis, this is Laramie after all.

Hopefully see you in oct xxC
