It's been awhile
As Stain'd once sang.
But yes it has...too much time playing with boys...well one boy in particular, and not enough time being a good girl and staying at home!
Its been quite a good few weeks...lots of stuff happening...like Valentines day, being woken up by Him with a big bunch of flowers, a Dan Brown illustrated box set of The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, and an Ipod Nano...yes I'm spoiled. Then I went up to landican to see my Nain, I bought her a heather because I thought it might survive longer than anything else in the vicious wind that whips around up there. I wrote her a poem too and read it for her...I'd have left it too, but there was no chance of it staying out for more than a few seconds in that wind, even if I wedged it under the plant pot. It made me feel better going there, paying my respects, and a little sad too...I do miss her quite a bit.
I had taken the day off work so we did very little all day...wandered around the shops for a while. Then He said he had some stuff to do and droped me home for a couple of hours.
7pm comes and he picks me up and takes me back to his, takes me upstairs and tells me to relax while he goes to find something for tea, a while later he comes back and says there's not much in and could I come downstairs and give him a hand.
I was wonderfully surprised with hundreds of candles and a beautifully cooked steak dinner. It was fantastic...best Valentines day ever.
Since then there's been James Blunt...which I have to say was one of the best concerts I've been to...I mean it. not as good as Skunk Anansie, but it came close...he's got a damned good voice on him that man and a sense of humour as well...he took the piss out of himself quite a bit with lines like 'this one is for the girls, the men can't sing along to this because I sing like a little irl', and 'I keep forgetting the words to this one because it's a new one, and you lot don't know it so you'll be no fucking use'. It was a fantastic concert, he's even better live than he is on the lbum...can't wait for more of his stuff to come out!
And then the other week I surprised Him with a home made chinese meal, and lots of floaty candles and tea lights in his room. I enjoyed doing it, and especially enjoyed the look on his face when he walked in and saw it all.
I love him so much...he makes me so happy.

I'm really glad it's going so well, he is a lovely bloke :)
damn I've got it's been a while going around me head now!!!
Oh and I can't stop laughing about you getting a dan brown box set for valentines day... I think the da vinci code is the most terrible book in the history of terribleness... although I did read it in a day because it is so entertaining!! x
